Animeret international dokumentar fra 2023. Veninderne Raha og Marwa bor i Afghanistans hovedstad Kabul, da den islamistiske bevægelse Taleban genindtager landet i august 2021. Taleban truer begge kvinder og deres familier. Med ét mister de alt og må prøve at finde en ny vej. Raha på 21 år bliver i Kabul, mens 24-årige Marwa må flygte med sin mand, der har arbejdet for internationale hjælpeorganisationer og derfor er i fare.

Animationen er meget enkel, poetisk og dynamisk. Samtidig med at den visualiserer lydsidens tale, er den også stemningsskabende uden at blive sentimental.
Lydsiden er et sammenklip af de 2 veninders (Marwa og Raha) talebeskeder sendt til journalisten Caroline Gillet. Her fortæller de to kvinder om deres liv og livssituation efter Talibans magtovertagelse i august 2021. Begge kvinders verden er præget af frygt, uvished og håb, men Marwas fremtidsudsigter tegner dog væsentligt lysere end Rahas.
Dokumentarfilmen kan anvendes i fag, der beskæftiger sig med situationen i Afghanistan og kvindernes stilling. Der er lavet en kapitelvejledning og en CFU-vejledning til engelsk i udskolingen. Filmen kan også anvendes i dansk eller andre fag i arbejdet med dokumentarfilm. Endelig vil den også være spændende at bruge i et remedieringsforløb - her: hvordan en række lydfiler bliver til en animeret dokumentarfilm.
